So yea, I haven't posted in quite some time. Okay, it's only been five days but I mean, that's awhile in blogging time, don't you think? My poor site probably feels neglected. Don't you worry though, I have definitely not poofed into the abyss.

I have been working on a guild site for my World of Warcraft guild which can be found at: h-distortion.guildlaunch.com. It is being hosted so it has ads and whatnot, but overall I am pretty proud of the graphics considering that the images give me nothing to work with.

Exciting news! I have an 'interview' with Jason's friend's friend (lol) on Tuesday to see if she is going to have me design her a website. I am pretty stoked about it, considering that I just love making website in general. While I am on the subject, does anyone know of a good host? I heard godaddy.com was good from a friend, but another says their customer service is terrible. I don't want to set her up with something that is going to make the process difficult. I checked out fatcow.com and they have some great reviews, but I can never really trust on how many of them are legit, if you know what I mean.

On that note, I am thinking of grabbing my own .com while I am at it and hosting a few people. I think it may be fun having a domain of my own (:

Now, on another note, me and Josh have stopped talking. Mostly because I don't think he should be getting engaged to somebody that he has not even been dating for a month. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the whole love at first site thing, but I also believe in being love-struck. I mean, after a couple months to a year of dating, it's not all birds chirping and hearts floating. People show you who they really are after the passion wears off, and sometimes it just isn't as pretty as you thought. I just don't want to see him jump into something, or push for something, that is going to wind up getting him hurt or putting him into a sticky situation. Men are just silly. I honestly don't think that they have any idea what they want. They just see something that looks nice and jump in. But we all know, you can't judge a book by it's cover, and just because something looks nice, doesn't mean that it is.

Argh!
I am so sorry that I have not been updating guys, I'm just really busy out here in the thing we dare call the real world.

I am working on a website for a friend right now, which I will hopefully become affiliates with (: So keep an eye out for a new affiliate that will be coming soon.

So I am thinking about taking some online classes from the junior college here, because I cannot afford the regular ones. Books alone are like, $400.00! Which is ridiculous. It really sucks that I have to pay for school now. I mean, it's not something that I like doing. Not like paying $400.00 for a cute new jacket. You know? I mean, this is school we are talking about!

And now for something completely different; I don't understand people sometimes. I mean, if somebody cheated on you once, and after you guys broke up, you hooked up with them while they had a new boyfriend/girlfriend, would you ever want to get back with them? Don't even try to tell me that they have 'changed' because obviously they have not. If they are so different, then why would they be doing to their current boyfriend/girlfriend, what they did to you in the past? That's not change, that's bullshit, my friend. I just don't understand how somebody could be so ignorant and blind. And why they would want such a skanky boyfriend/girlfriend anyway. Seriously, just walk away.

Moving on, I don't know about where you guys live, but the housing here is so super expensive. I mean, $1200 a month for a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment? You have got to be kidding me, no wonder so many people are homeless.

Anyway, I am done with my small rant, just needed to get a few things off my mind and onto the screen before I shut my computer off and clean my room. To make things better, I may just dance while I am picking up the countless number of dirty socks off the floor.

Yea, that sounds good.

The weather is terrible today. There is no sunny skies, no chirping birds, and no way to get tan. Which, I desperately need to do because I am white as a ghost. I made a few banners today, and a new layout, which of course you can see. It isn't finished yet, and I still need to move some things around, but for the most part, I want to know what you guys think!

I am starting a new book today, mostly because Chynna's insane amount of reading has got me feeling lazy. My plan was to lay out in the sun today and read it, but like I said, there is no friggen sun. Hmph. Anyways, I am reading 'The Lovely Bones'. Here is a small excerpt (:

"
My name was Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie. I was fourteen when I was murdered on December 6, 1973. In newspaper photos of missing girls from the seventies, most looked like me: white girls with mousy brown hair. This was before kids of all races and genders started appearing on milk cartons or in the daily mail. It was still back when people believed things like that didn't happen.
In my junior high yearbook I had a quote from a Spanish poet my sister had turned me on to, Juan Raman Jimanez. It went like this: "If they give you ruled paper, write the other way." I chose it both because it expressed my contempt for my structured surroundings a la the classroom and because, not being some dopey quote from a rock group, I thought it marked me as literary. I was a member of the Chess Club and Chem Club and burned everything I tried to make in Mrs. Delminico's home ec class. My favorite teacher was Mr. Botte, who taught biology and liked to animate the frogs and crawfish we had to dissect by making them dance in their waxed pans.
I wasn't killed by Mr. Botte, by the way. Don't think every person you're going to meet in here is suspect. That's the problem. You never know. Mr. Botte came to my memorial (as, may I add, did almost the entire junior high school --I was never so popular) and cried quite a bit. He had a sick kid. We all knew this, so when he laughed at his own jokes, which were rusty way before I had him, we laughed too, forcing it sometimes just to make him happy. His daughter died a year and a half after I did. She had leukemia, but I never saw her in my heaven.
My murderer was a man from our neighborhood. My mother liked his border flowers, and my father talked to him once about fertilizer. My murderer believed in old-fashioned things like eggshells and coffee grounds, which he said his own mother had used. My father came home smiling, making jokes about how the man's garden might be beautiful but it would stink to high heaven once a heat wave hit.
But on December 6, 1973, it was snowing, and I took a shortcut through the cornfield back from the junior high. It was dark out because the days were shorter in winter, and I remember how the broken cornstalks made my walk more difficult. The snow was falling lightly, like a flurry of small hands, and I was breathing through my nose until it was running so much that I had to open my mouth. Six feet from where Mr. Harvey stood, I stuck my tongue out to taste a snowflake.
"Don't let me startle you," Mr. Harvey said.
"

It totally caught me right away. I can't wait to get back to reading it later on tonight after Jason is home and we are laying in bed. If you guys have the extra time, you should totally grab a copy and read along with me.

I made two new banners today, one of David Tennant, whom I noticed plays in Ferris Bueler's Day Off the other day when I watched it (lol), and one of the beautiful Tom Felton. Both requested by Chynna herself. I ended up deleting my others on accident, so I will have to make more as the day goes on.

Hello my wonderful people!
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile I have just been really busy. My boyfriend Jason is finally helping me fix up my car. The recent dent that I made (oops!) and the older one that it had when I bought the car, are all being bondo'd and painted to match so that it looks brand new (: We will be going to 'Pick-n-Pull' today, which is basically this junk yard with just cars. They buy cars that don't run, and then sell parts off of them, so hopefully I can find a new antennae, sense mine is broken, and maybe even a dash cover, one that is black so that my car will look really nice.

I will be revamping my banner section today (: I have made a few new ones already but want to make a few more before I take all the old ones down. So far, I have only been making ones featuring Lady Gaga, because I am totally brain dead as to what to make. So if you have any ideas, please let me know!

Also, I got a deviantART account (: Woohoo! So if you want to find me there, my username is aubreyIRL. Watch me if you would like, but don't expect too many pictures any time soon, because I need to get myself a new camera. I have only been able to use the one on my Iphone, and although the pixels are amazing for a phone, they aren't great compared to a camera, plus, they don't catch lighting very well =/

I made some 'class of' tags. So if you have graduated or just want to show some class spirit, feel free to use them!

That's all for now, I will try and update again later, but I need to get to work on fixing that car!

Late start this morning.

I got up around, eh, 11am? Which really shouldn't be considered the 'AM' because, honestly, that's pretty late in the day. Anyhoo, I got up late and texted my long lost friend, Josh.

Remember him? Of course you do. Well our conversation went down the shithole and now he doesn't want to talk to me. Of course he doesn't want to talk to me, does he ever? I swear to mother nature that every time I have a chitchat with that man, we end up in some petty fight because of some misunderstanding or whatnot. It seriously pisses me off, why can't guys just understand us better? I swear I could say 'I love to eat hamburgers.' and he hears 'I hate you with a passion.' It's totally frustrating how far off his interpretations are.

Whatever, I guess all I can say is, ARGH! -shakes fist-

Now, in other news, I got back into World of Warcraft. Ha, but now I am playing on the Horde side because, frankly, Alliance sucks. Sorry dudes, but the Horde has it made. Much more flight points which means less time-consuming runs. Plus, we always win PvP, don't we?

So yea, if you are on the Spinebreaker realm and just so happen to be a Horde, whisper me on Clairax (: I'm trying to get a guild up and running and I would love your guys' help, or just somebody to chat with!

And now for something completely different.

I want my baby to be home so that I can give him a big 'ole hug and kiss. Hopefully he will be helping me fix up my car today. Oh, that reminds me that I forgot to tell of you that I had a minor crash the other day. As embarrassing as it is, I was just backing out of the driveway and ended up being in drive instead of reverse. Ha! So now, I have a dent on the my car above the left wheel. The paint scratched off as well, but no worries because I got exact match car paint at the local Kragen's. Hurrah!

PS.
I have a new affie (: Check her out at http://mutayymate.blogspot.com/

So i was looking at a where is Waldo book today. Remember those? Too much fun.
Anyways, it took me ages, but I finally found him. Just thought I would share that with everyone. I was really stoked when I finally spotted the correct striped hat.

In other news, I updated the site a bit today and I will continue to add new things throughout the rest of the day, so keep checking back. I have revamped the 'blends' section, deleting almost all of my older blends and making a few new ones. Why you ask? Because I was tired of looking at the old ones, and I believe that my blending has improved a bit, the old ones don't do justice!

Drag and drop for a better look at one of the new blends.

I have also slowing been adding tutorials. Slowly, because I had no idea how long they actually take! Props to all of you that make them because I know how time consuming they can be. So I have a few basic ones up there for now and please comment on what other ones you would like to see!

So I don't know about you guys, but I hate seeing all the school supplies appearing in the department stores. I walked into Target the other day and there was banners and signs everywhere advertising for sales on pencils, erasers, rulers, and notebooks. If you didn't realize that summer is almost over, well, you do now.

Bummer, eh?

And about all these school supplies, do you guys remember having a list of things to get for school? A compass, a ruler, 5 spiral bound notebooks, highlighters, sharpies...

It's funny because how often did you actually use all that crap? Like, never, right? I can't remember the last time I actually used a compass or ruler for math. Most of the time you end up borrowing a pencil, or asking somebody for a piece of paper because you left yours at home. What really gets me though, is that after you buy all this pointless junk that is supposedly a 'mandatory' object, the teacher hands them out in class on the days that you need them for the assignment.

So advice to those of you that are still in school, save your money. Buy a pack of pencils for a dollar, buy a notebook (or two) and skip all the other crud. It's a complete waste.

Anyways, I put up a new layout, as you probably already noticed. It's a lot more fun than the last one, but I kept the same basic template so I wouldn't be here coding for hours, lol.

I will be taking down some old graphics today, and adding some newer ones. Along with a few new things to the site.
